Among various processing technologies of laminated film for packaging bags(such as vacuum sealer bags), dry lamination is a traditional and widely used lamination technology around the world. It has been widely used to produce the packaging bags for food, drugs, cosmetics, daily necessities, light industrial products, chemicals, electronic products and etc. Dry lamination is to apply a layer of solvent-based adhesive on the plastic film with a coating device (usually coated by gravure mesh roller), and then remove the solvent of adhesive and dry the film by the laminating machine, and at last laminate the film with other materials(such as thin plastic film sheet and aluminum foil)under hot pressing.
Dry lamination has been widely used and is suitable for the lamination between two or three different layers of materials(include thin plastic film laminated with aluminum foil or paper). Laminated films are with good erosion resistance(such as good resistance to the erosions from alkali, acid, spicy, oil and other ingredients of the food, resistance to the erosions from solvents and other additives of chemical products) and good stiffness. The laminated films also are of high strength, good quality stability and good transparency. Thus it can be used to manufacture the packaging bags meeting high requirements. For example, the laminated films can be used to produce frozen food packaging, freshness-keeping packaging(such as vacuum sealer bags) and retort cooking packaging.
